Welcome to the home page of the Micum McIntire Clan Association! We hope you will spend some time exploring our website and discover the rich history of an individual who was the forebear of one of the oldest Scottish families in America.
JOIN US!!! Clan membership is open to any and all descendants of Micum McIntire, a Scottish Prisoner of War captured at the Battle of Dunbar on September 3, 1650, whether by blood, marriage, adoption, domestic partnership, or any other family connection, as well as anyone interested in the purposes of the Association or interested in its work. Membership entitles you to:
- Vote in MMCA elections
- Run for Clan Council positions
- Receive 3-4 Clan Newsletters through the year
- A 10% discount at our website’s Gift Shop
- Participate in Online Zoom Interest Groups (ZIG) like GENEALOGY and CLAN COOKING
- Access to the MMCA Historian for family genealogy questions
- A Free digital Micum McIntire Family Tree, to print and frame as you wish
- A Free digital Group Photo of 100th Anniversary Reunion
- MMCA’s non-profit status makes all contributions TAX DEDUCTIBLE
